This year's short film programme presents eight new works from Black British filmmakers. The films span drama, documentary and genre fiction, and explore themes including faith, identity, friendship, memory and belonging. Together they offer a snapshot of the range and breadth of Black British short filmmaking in 2026. The screening will be followed by the S.O.U.L. Fest Short Film Awards — celebrating the very best of this year's programme — before we round off the festival in style with a closing party you won't want to miss.
